14 arrested in Pehlwan Goth, Yousuf Plaza operation

The rangers and police have arrested 14 suspects during ongoing combined search operation here in Federal B Area’s Yousuf Plaza after Pehalwan Goth.
Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wasan has claimed that the security agencies have captured 182 suspects including 42 marked target killers in the going search operation in the city while four more persons have been killed in separate incidents of firing and violence in the metropolis. Rangers and police are conducting combined search operations in various parts of city and they have arrested several hundred suspects so far. The previous night, rangers and police launched search operation in Al-Rahim Plaza in Pehalwan Goth area and succeeded to arrest several suspects and seize arms and ammunition.
During operation they also recovered CCTV cameras, National Highways’ snatched carpets and two containers of computer parts.

Over 500 criminals arrested in Karachi: Wassan

Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wasan on Thursday said that the operation in Karachi was progressing successfully and had helped in controlling the city’s security situation, a private TV reported.
According to details, speaking to media representatives in Khairpur, Mr Wasan lauded the performance of police and Rangers with regard to the operation. He further said that the operation was indiscriminate and that the authorities would act wherever “terrorists, extortionists and target killers” took shelter. Mr Wasan said “no-go areas” would also be eliminated from the city and lasting peace would soon be established. “The operation in Karachi started on August 10, 500 suspects were arrested within 10 days, large quantities of arms and ammunition were recovered from their possession,” he told reporters. Mr Wasan said that all political parties were cooperating with the government over the operation. He moreover said that if the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) joined the government, “we would welcome them”.
Mr Wasan said that operations would also be carried out against dacoits and kidnappers in interior Sindh in order to make the province peaceful and secure.

No Militant wing accepts in any party; PM Gilani

MULTAN:-
                        Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani vow’s to take across the board action against anti-social elements without showing any kindness to them for reinstate peace to Karachi.
The Prime Minister Gilani said this while speak to a large gathering of people including notables of the area, party workers and office bearers at the Circuit House.

Gilani said that any criminal, terrorist, or militant suspect if found responsible of killing innocent citizen in Karachi would be strictly punished.

Prime Minister said “we would not accept militant wing in any party”.

Prime Minister articulated the resolution to remove the sense of lack of the people of under-developed areas, which remained deserted in the past.

Yousuf Raza Gilani said that there was a sense of deficiency among the people of southern Punjab.

The people wanted their rights sheltered and “we will support them to remove their six-decade long sense of withdrawal. It is our responsibility to act in harmony with their ambitions,”

PM said that some people were issuing statements to decline the stance of the people of southern Punjab. Some people had objected to the word ‘Seraiki’ but flower would give fragrance no matter what name it was given.

The Prime Minister Gilani said that the government was moving forward in the right direction and would solve all the problems of people.

Five terrorist arrested from Islamabad

Islamabad:-
                       At least five terrorist suspects arrested from a local Hotel located in Abpara most busy area of Islamabad, E Pakistan News Reported.

Police raid in a Hotel and Sector G-6/2 and at least five captured the culprits. Police officials told that they have minded to attack on the Last Friday of Holly Ramadan.

Police recovered a suicide jacket, hand grenade and foreign currency from them.

Police took in own custody and shifted in undisclosed location and start the investigation also
